Organic Saturday!

The Paddock Farm Shop will be open on Saturday 16th September 2017 to celebrate #organicseptember! The Soil Association dedicate the whole of September to raising awareness about organic food and as we are about to enter our fifth year of running our box scheme, we thought we would join them and invite you to help us celebrate! The Organic Food Market in the UK is now in it's fifth consecutive year of growth, total sales of organic increased by 7.1% in 2016 while non-organic sales continued to decline showing people are ever increasingly concerned about where their food comes from and how it is produced!

We would love to see you pop into the Farm Shop on Saturday 16th September between 10.30am-4pm to celebrate all things organic. You can find out more about eating organic food, our box scheme and other organic products. There will be fresh, organic, local fruit and veg, organic dairy including milk and butter from Acorn Dairy and organic natural yoghurt and cheese from Slack House Farm. Bread baked with Gilchesters Organics local flour. A great selection of organic wholefoods from Suma Wholefoods and more alongside our free range eggs from our happy hens! There will also be tasters of some of our favourite organic produce.

It's also competition time - leave a review on our facebook page throughout September, s
end us your reasons for eating organic food #chooseorganic and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a free veg box delivery! We would love to hear from you so please share your reasons for eating organic, recipes, photos of your veg boxes and more by clicking the link below, we will be sharing ours throughout the month, so make sure you like the page while there for regular updates:

Here at The Paddock, organic food is very important to us. We choose organic because it is real food, food that tastes the way it should, the way it used to. It's better for the environment and in turn our own bodies. It works with nature, rather than against it and provides a more sustainable and ethical method of food production.
