About our Free Range Turkey from Fenham Le Moor Northumberland: 6kg

Properly free range Turkeys from Northumberland. The turkeys are not organic. Fenham-Le-Moor is a working farm located on the stunning Northumbrian coast, directly opposite the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. A heritage breed Kelly Bronze turkey that has spent it's time roaming free-range around our farm. The very best, properly free range turkey we know how to produce. Slow grown for plenty of tender meat and a juicy, traditional flavour. Hand-reared, hand-finished, hand-plucked and game-hung for two weeks. A turkey like no other. Properly Free Range: Our Bronze Free Range Turkeys roam and forage on rolling Monmouthshire pastures from the age of six weeks. This freedom to exercise gives the turkeys an enriched way of life which helps to develop and improve the quality of meat, giving it superb flavour and texture.

All about flavour

Once our turkeys reach their final weight, they are hand finished, hand plucked and game hung at a low temperature for two weeks.

The meat tenderises and develops flavour slowly.

Meticulous care is taken over the bird at this stage to ensure none of its flavour, quality and potential is lost.

It is eviscerated by hand before being cleaned and packed, ready for delivery.

A 6.5kg bird is equivalent to a 14 pound bird, and will feed around 12-15 people with some to spare.

This is perfect for a Christmas lunch leaving plenty for left-overs.

AVAILABLE FOR DELIVERY OR COLLECTION SUNDAY 21ST OR MONDAY 22ND DECEMBER ONLY.

TURKEYS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR DELIVERY ON OUR REFRIGERATED VANS, UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO DELIVER TURKEYS TO NORTH NORTHUMBERLAND. COLLECTION IS AVAILABLE FROM HIGH SPEN.
