Who are Calon Wen?

Calon Wen is a small co-operative of organic family farms across Wales. We believe in providing exceptional organic milk, cheese and butter that taste great and are sustainably produced.

Our farmers like to keep things simple. Our cows are grass-fed, grazing on fresh, clover-rich organic pastures that are never treated with artificial sprays, fertilisers or chemicals. The result is high-quality Welsh organic milk, packed with natural goodness and perfect for creating our range of organic butter and Welsh cheese.
We pay our farmers for the quality as well as the quantity of milk they produce, which means our farmers are not pushed towards high yielding systems.
