Pomegranate molasses is a thick ruby-coloured syrup, popular to Middle- Eastern cuisine, with a balanced sweet and sharp, fruity-tart kick that adds complexity when used in marinades, dressings and a whole host of dishes. A staple to Persian, Levantine cuisine & dishes from areas around Middle-Eastern region, Pomegranate Molasses takes its name from the thick pouring consistency that resembles molasses, but is used traditionally as a ingredient to savoury dishes or as a condiment, and not as a sweetener.
