What will I receive?

How to Use:

One tube will cover 5-6 pots or a square metre in a garden bed, and is a super pick-up line as a bee-friendly gift or stocking filler. The balls are made from a mixture of UK wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. By being encased within the balls, the seeds are protected from being eaten by seed predators (such as birds and mice). Once enough water has soaked through the clay, the seeds inside will begin to germinate - helped along by the nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder continues to deter slugs and snails while the seed ball slowly degrades and the seeds sprout.

They are really easy to use - simply scatter on top of soil or compost (no digging or expertise required), water and nature will do the rest. Created by conservation scientists, Seedball is helping to fill our gardens, balconies and window boxes with native wildflowers, bees and butterflies. Seedball is a multiple award-winning gardening product that appeals to gift-givers, non-expert gardeners, and to people who are keen to support their back-garden wildlife.

Cornflower: Brilliantly blue British cornflowers. These iconic and distinctive flowers are fantastic for bees, beetles, butterflies and moths, and are a simply marvellous addition to any wildlife garden. They are also edible with a cucumber-like taste, and can be used in salads, as a garnish or infused as a tea!

Forget Me Not: Forget-Me-Not seed balls, these delicate blue flowers grow really easily, and are great for popping into grooves and cracks along the edge of paving stones.

Oxeye Daisy: Simply Oxeye Daisy seeds, so beautiful! These are one of the quickest growing wildflowers, whose open flower heads attract bees, butterflies and hoverflies. Also one of the the most resilient wildflowers, these are often seen on road verges and in spots with more limited sunshine.

Poppy: A tube bursting with common poppy seeds. A bright red flowering annual – this hugely popular native wildflower is fantastic for pollinators and garden birds and a stunning addition to any wildflower garden. Poppies are also a big favourite of ours for window boxes or for other small growing spaces.

Red Campion: The bright rose-red flowers of red campion brighten up roadsides, woodlands and hedges throughout the summer. Just as the bluebells finish flowering in our woodlands, red campion starts to come into bloom. If they grow side-by-side for a few weeks, they can turn a woodland floor into an amazing sea of pink and blue.
Red campion is a perennial plant, which means it can live for a number of years, growing and blooming in spring and summer, and dying back in autumn.
