The Blue Ballet squash is a small, teardrop-shaped winter squash variety featuring a smooth, slate-blue or grey-green outer rind and sweet, bright orange flesh. Dry, rich, and sweet with dense, fine-grained flesh that is not watery or stringy. Excellent keeper; its hard rind allows it to store well for months in a cool, dry place.
